Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 6, 2026 (the "Effective Date")

Operator: Saige Agent LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("SaigeAgent," "we," "us," or "our")

Contact: hello@saigeagent.com

This Privacy Policy explains what information SaigeAgent collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers saigeagent.com, the client portal at app.saigeagent.com, and related services (together, the "Service").

1. Who this applies to

This Policy applies to clients and prospective clients who use the website, complete intake, or use the client portal. The Service is not directed to people under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact hello@saigeagent.com and we will delete it.

2. Information we collect

Identity and contact details

Name, email address, phone number, mailing or location details you provide, and account login information for the portal.

Resume and career materials

Resume content, work history, education, skills, target roles, preferences, and tailored resumes we generate for specific applications.

Screening and application answers

Answers you provide for common screening questions. This may include work authorization status, willingness to relocate or travel, notice period, and similar items.

Sensitive or regulated categories you may choose to provide

Depending on the roles you target and the forms employers use, you may provide:

  • Work authorization or visa-related answers
  • Demographic or EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) voluntary self-identification answers
  • Salary expectations or compensation history where an application asks for them

We collect these only when you supply them for intake or applications. Providing voluntary demographic answers is optional where the form allows. We use this information only to complete applications at your direction and to operate the Service, not for advertising.

Employer communications

Emails and messages employers send to your dedicated AgentMail inbox (for example, an address like firstname.x@mail.saigeagent.com), including interview invites, rejections, and follow-ups, so we can show them in your portal.

Employer-site credentials

Logins created or stored to submit applications on employer systems (for example, Workday). See our Terms of Service (Credential policy) and Section 6 below.

Portal and site usage

How you use the portal and website: pages viewed, feature use, device/browser type, approximate location from IP address, and diagnostic logs needed to run and secure the Service.

Payment information

If you subscribe, Stripe processes payment card details. We receive billing status, plan, and related transaction metadata. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.

Communications with us

Emails or messages you send to hello@saigeagent.com or other SaigeAgent addresses.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Run intake and set up your account and dedicated application inbox
  • Find and verify job postings that match your preferences
  • Generate tailored resumes and fill application forms
  • Submit applications through partner automation tools
  • Show your pipeline, weekly reports, kickoff info, and resumes in the portal
  • Receive and surface employer replies
  • Bill subscriptions (when paid plans are active) and prevent fraud
  • Improve reliability, security, and product quality
  • Create de-identified or aggregated statistics and insights to improve the Service (this data will not identify you)
  • Communicate about your account, service changes, and support
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms

We do not use your data to sell advertising profiles or for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Who we share information with

We share information only as needed to operate the Service:

Recipient Why
Skyvern Browser automation that fills and submits application forms
AgentMail Dedicated inboxes that receive employer replies
AI model providers Generating and tailoring resumes and related application text
Employers and their ATS platforms The companies and systems you apply to receive your application materials
Google Workspace Business email and related workspace tools (including hello@saigeagent.com)
Squarespace Hosting the main marketing site at saigeagent.com
Cloudflare Domain, DNS, and related infrastructure/security services
Stripe Subscription payments and billing

We may also share information with professional advisors (for example, a lawyer or accountant) under confidentiality, or when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.

If the business is reorganized or sold, your information may transfer to the successor as part of that transaction, still subject to this Policy or a successor policy with equivalent protections.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are used under the CCPA/CPRA and similar U.S. state privacy laws.

Employers and ATS platforms act as independent controllers of the application data they receive. Their privacy practices apply once data is submitted to them.

5. AI providers

To tailor resumes and related text, we send relevant prompts and materials (for example, your resume content and a job description) to AI model providers acting as our service providers. We use this processing only to provide and improve the Service for you. We instruct providers, where the product and contract allow, not to use your content to train their generalized public models. Provider configurations may change as we add or replace vendors; the categories above still apply.

6. Credentials and security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including access controls, encrypted transport where supported by our providers, encryption of stored employer-site credentials where our systems support it, and limiting staff and partner access to what is needed to run the Service.

No method of transmission or storage is fully secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. Notify hello@saigeagent.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account or inbox.

Credential handling for employer sites follows the Credential policy in our Terms of Service: we create and use ATS accounts only to operate the Service for you; credentials are encrypted at rest where supported; and they are deleted on your request or at the end of the retention period below.

7. Retention

Unless a longer period is required for legal, tax, dispute, security, or fraud-prevention reasons:

  • Account, resume, application, portal, and AgentMail inbox data: kept while your account is active, then for 90 days after cancellation or account closure, then deleted from active systems (backups expire on our normal schedule, generally within an additional 30 days).
  • Employer-site credentials: deleted at the end of that same 90-day period, or sooner if you request deletion.
  • Billing and payment records: kept up to 7 years as needed for tax and accounting.
  • Support emails: kept up to 2 years after the issue is closed.
  • Security and diagnostic logs: kept up to 24 months, then deleted or aggregated.
  • De-identified or aggregated data: may be retained indefinitely because it is no longer personal information.

You may request earlier deletion as described in Section 8. Application materials already submitted to employers are outside our control once sent.

8. Your rights: access, correction, and deletion

Wherever you live, you may ask us to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete information we no longer need to provide the Service
  • Receive a portable copy of information you provided

How to exercise: Email hello@saigeagent.com with your request. We will verify your identity (usually via the email on your account) and respond within the time required by applicable law (generally within 45 days in California, extendable once when reasonably necessary).

Some requests may be limited where we must keep records for law, billing, security, or applications already submitted.

9. California (CCPA/CPRA) and other U.S. state privacy laws

If you are a resident of California or another state with a comprehensive privacy law (for example, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or Utah), you may have additional rights, including to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

Categories we collect (as described in Section 2): identifiers; commercial information (subscription status); professional and employment-related information; education information; internet or electronic network activity; approximate geolocation from IP; and sensitive personal information you choose to provide (such as work authorization or voluntary EEO answers).

Sources: you; your devices; our service providers; and employers only to the extent they reply to your applications.

Business purposes: operating the Service, security, debugging, billing, and compliance, as described in Section 3.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we do not sell or share in those senses, we do not currently offer a "Do Not Sell or Share" opt-out beyond this statement. If that changes, we will update this Policy and provide a clear opt-out.

Sensitive personal information: We use work authorization, demographic/EEO answers, and similar fields only to complete applications at your direction and to operate the Service. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require a "Right to Limit" under the CCPA.

Authorized agents: You may use an authorized agent; we will require proof of authority and verification of your identity.

Appeals: If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email. You may also contact your state attorney general.

Shine the Light: We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

Marketing site (saigeagent.com on Squarespace): Uses cookies and similar technologies that Squarespace and Cloudflare provide for basic site function, security, and (if enabled on the site) analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect site features.

Client portal (app.saigeagent.com): Uses cookies or local storage as needed to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and secure the session. These are necessary for the portal to work.

Cloudflare: May set cookies related to security and performance for domains we operate.

Analytics: We may use first-party or privacy-oriented product analytics (and Squarespace's built-in analytics on the marketing site) to understand aggregate usage and fix bugs. We do not use advertising cookies to sell your data or build ad profiles for third-party advertisers.

Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control: We do not currently respond to legacy Do Not Track browser signals in a uniform way. If we introduce advertising cookies that constitute a "sale" or "share" under state law, we will honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) where required and update this section.

11. International processing

Our providers may process data in the United States or other countries. Job applications send your information to employers and ATS platforms that have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for employer or third-party site policies once your data is submitted to them.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and change the Effective Date. For material changes, we will notify you by email or in the portal when practical. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
